Thames & Kosmos: Remote Control Robotics – This remote-controlled robotics kit offers children a fun, hands-on way to explore robotics and engineering. The set allows young engineers to build 10 different types of motorized models and operate them using a remote control.

Using the kit’s components, you can build various robots, including a bulldozer, a robotic arm, a crane, a car, a classic vehicle, a Formula 1 car, and more. It comes with a 6-channel infrared (IR) remote control that allows for the simultaneous operation of three different motors. The set includes three compact electric motors, enabling complex and versatile model movements. A 64-page full-color manual is included, featuring assembly instructions and fascinating information about robotics and mechanics.

Thames & Kosmos was founded in 2001 by a science museum director and her son, who saw the great need and demand for better science education materials that are more engaging, more effective, more relevant, and more fun.

Thames & Kosmos mission is to improve informal science education. Their vision is to give all children access to real, physical activities and projects that teach them about how things work; It is our firm belief that children who connect with the world around them grow up to be inquisitive adults, creative thinkers, and engaged citizens with confidence to pursue careers in science, technology, and engineering.

The science kits are organized into thirteen categories: Chemistry, Physics, Alternative Energy, Electrical Science, Biology, Earth Science & Natural History, Multi-Subject, Astronomy & Space, Historical Science, Construction+Engineering, Robotics, Crystals & Materials, and Arts & Crafts.
