Thames & Kosmos offers products loaded with unique educational values that introduce children to chemistry, biology, physics, engineering, electricity, and the natural sciences. Brand’s mission is to teach children the various sciences in an interesting and fun way by providing them with real, practical activities and projects that will teach how things work.

Let the treasure hunting begin! Use the Thames & Kosmos Metal Detector to detect metal objects — like gold, silver, iron, copper, and more — that are buried up to six inches deep in sand, dirt, or grass.

The integrated digital display provides visual feedback as you home in on a metal object and emits a clear “beep” when you find your mark. Quickly and easily adjust the angle of the metal detector to explore between rocks, under bushes, and other hard-to-reach places. With two handles of different lengths and a lightweight design, this is the perfect exploration tool for kids (and adults!) of all ages.

Their vision is to give all children access to real, physical activities and projects that teach them about how things work; It is our firm belief that children who connect with the world around them grow up to be inquisitive adults, creative thinkers, and engaged citizens with confidence to pursue careers in science, technology, and engineering.

The science kits are organized into thirteen categories: Chemistry, Physics, Alternative Energy, Electrical Science, Biology, Earth Science & Natural History, Multi-Subject, Astronomy & Space, Historical Science, Construction+Engineering, Robotics, Crystals & Materials, and Arts & Crafts.
