The Giant Panda has always fascinated people and therefore goes by a number of different names with it’s scientific name meaning “cat-foot black and white” and it’s Chinese name translates literally to “Giant‚ Bear ‚Cat”

The panda is a mammal of the bear family, which is one of the rarest animals in the world. The primary teeth are strong and blunt.

The panda lives in the cold, damp forests of the mountains south of central China. The giant panda belongs to the herbivorous animals. His favorite foods are bamboo leaves, as well as branches, twigs and roots.
