Known as the father of abstract art, Piet Mondrian is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. He pioneered a new style of art that not only remains popular today, but also inspired creators of fashion, music, graphics, and architecture. His original paintings are on display in world-class galleries throughout Europe and the U.S.

How did he become so influential?
Early in his career he conformed to the impressionistic technique of painting as seen in this Dutch landscape. But, he was a deep thinker and passionately pursued spiritual knowledge.
In 1917 he established the Neoplastic style which aspired to refine images to their purest forms while balancing the composition. What some people consider just extremely simple paintings, Mondrian considered expressions of profound understanding.

Plus-Plus was developed in the eighties in Holbæk, Denmark. The idea was to create a simplistic toy that would spark the imagination and creativity of children of all ages.

Plus-Plus is a collection of colorful 6-sided plastic pieces that interlock with one another to provide the user with endless possibilities. It can be used to create puzzles, 2D and 3D mosaics and art, or used as a block to construct anything imaginable.

Plus-Plus combines elements of science, tech, mathematics, and engineering (STEM). It stimulates fine motor skills, logic, creativity, and imagination all without the use of screens. It’s hours of fun and play for all ages.
