The texture under the deep lid creates a natural self-basting effect by collecting condensation which goes back in to the dish, keeping food moist. With exceptional heat retention and the ability to release it slowly and homogeneously, food is gently cooked to preserve all flavours. This cast iron small sized casserole is also used as a serving dish – you personally prepare for one person and you will be hosted with this.
