Glassware

To maintain the original shine of glassware, it is necessary to follow simple recommendations for its care and use.

Hand washing:
• It is recommended to wash glassware with lukewarm water. Avoid pouring boiling water directly on it, as sudden changes in temperature can cause the glass to crack.

• Use liquid detergents. Avoid powders and abrasives with rough surfaces that scratch the glass surface.

• If after intensive use the glass has lost its transparency, adding a little vinegar or lemon juice to the water when washing will restore its original shine.

• After intensive use, glassware may develop white deposits. This is the result of minerals (limestone) in the water. To remove white deposits, rinse the dishes in warm water with a little vinegar added. After 15-20 minutes, wash as usual and dry immediately.

Dishwasher:
Carefully inspect the glassware. Make sure the container or packaging is marked Dishwasher Safe and only then use the dishwasher.

Temperature shock:
Glass is sensitive to thermal shock – never place glassware taken from the refrigerator directly into a hot oven or microwave. Wait for the glassware to reach room temperature. The slower you change the temperature, the longer the glassware will last.

Microwave:
• Make sure the glassware is marked Microwave Safe and only then use the microwave.

• Do not use glassware with metal decorations or gold/silver-plated edges in the oven.

Handle with care:

When using glassware, avoid hard impacts. Micro-cracks that are not visible at first glance can cause the item to break over time.

Drying:
To prevent water droplets from remaining on glassware after washing, it is recommended to dry it thoroughly with a soft microfiber or cloth immediately after washing.

Storage:
Always store glasses in the correct position – with the rim up. When stored upside down, the entire weight is placed on them, which increases the risk of breaking the edges. The rim is the weakest point in glassware. Also, when storing in a cupboard, leave at least a small space between glassware to prevent accidental contact and damage.

Warning:
Do not use glassware in a microwave oven or dishwasher unless it is marked Microwave Safe and Dishwasher Safe.
